My experience with blogs

For me, using blogs in english class is a new experience, I have never had a blog, less a english blog, but it was funny and I think is a good idea for stimulate the creativity and the expression in english. Write and reading another posts make us to think in this language and not just memorize some words or understand short phrases.
I prefer to write what I think in my room and with a pencil and a paper, but I can do that in my house. So I just enjoy to can write my think in a english class, is the better way of learn because is more interesting for the students.
I don't know exactly if I have done a advance in my english writing because I don't how to know that , but I suppose that I have done because is a good exercise. So I recommend to continue this activity for the next classes.
I like the topics that we wrote, because sometimes we can chose , so is a mix between what our miss like to read and what we like to write, and sometimes, I hope always, what we write is funny to read. 

Session 9, Tattoos.

Today I want to talk about a taboo topic, tattoos. Tattoos are a very old practice in tribus, but now, are a very usual practice in the people, especially in young people. We can spend hours talking about the different kind of tattoos, the most common tattoos are the tribal and the traditionals, but now we can see a lot of tattoo styles. In our society we can find a lot of taboo topics, but tattoos now are more accepted for the people, I think that the reason is because the generations are changing, for the same reason, old people are more  close to accept the tattoos. In my case, I have seven tattoos, at the start my mam was very scared, but now she accept them, even she said that they are cute. My dad have not problems with tattoos, but now he always say me that I have to try to not have my body full of tattoos, and he is right, I dont want to have all my arms and legs full of tattoos, but a few of them are perfect for me. And I think that the people dont change when they have tattoos, is just an style that have different meaning for all of us. 

Session 8, the future.

Today, I want to talk about the future and what I expect for my future. Actually, I dont really know what I want for my next years. I suppose I want to end the university and may be do another career.  I want to travel a lot all  my life, to a lot of countries in differents continents. Have a lot of new experiences that make me a better and a complete person. I hope to have a big family, I dont believe in marriage but I hope to have a man that I love and three or four kids.
I think the future is uncertain, but I have the hope that life have big surprises for make us happy, I think that we live in a sad world, but we should have a happy life and try to make happy to other people.

Blog session 7

An very important expert on my field, is Sigmund Freud, w
hy is he important in my field if he is a psychologist and I study sociology?. Both fields are very related, the psychology study the man, and the sociology study the society (is more complicated than that but in general, this is the idea).
The importance of Sigmund Freud is that he proposed a new vision of the idea the man like object of studio. He started to include the unconscious in the social sciences, a very important change because it make big differences for study how the man lives in the society.
I started to read Freud at school in philosophy, but I really get interested in him because my dad talks a lot about his writes.

The best experience

The best experience that I had at the University was one of the first days, I was recently meeting to my new friends when I discovered that a lot of them like to play ping pong. At my school, the ping pong table was ever used by boys, and they never let us to play, but here, I went with my friend Daniela and we met a lot of nice people who invited us to play with them. We started to play at 2 pm I think, and we played with people of sociology, psychology and anthropology. So, some hours after, I went to see my cell phone for know the hour, and the hour was 8 pm! We played six hours but we felt like two hours. Then we met some classmates and we played "reloj", it is a play where the players run around the table for kick the ball and we fell a lot (not really serious), it was really funny, when I got home, I fell sleep in five minutes.  After this experience, we came back to play ping pong almost every day. 

Amsterdam

Today, I choose to write about a trip I did in the summer of 2013. I went to Amsterdam, Holand with three friends from school after the study trip of my school; it was one of the best experiences of my life. 

We went to the city by train, it was the first time that all of us were in Amsterdam and none of us spoke their language, but we tried to speak English to solve our questions or other things in the city. When we went out the train station we were very surprised, it was a very special place: the tube and the cars were using the same road, there were rivers around the entire city, and it was very cold, but the sun was amazing. We started to walk and the first thing that we said about the people there was: "They are veeeeery tall", we felt like minions from "Mi villano favorito".

Then we went to our hostel and it was very great, there were a lot of beds, cats, bongs and a big kitchen. The better thing in the hostel was the amazing balcony, where we could see the city.

We spent five days there, all these days we went to different museums of modern and classic art. We also went to the weed museum and the sex museum, it was funny. We walked a lot every day because the tube was very expensive and it was not necessary, it is a small city, everybody uses their bikes to go to work or any other activities. The most exciting activity for me was the house of Ana Frank. 

I have to admit that when we were not in a museum or sleeping, we were smoking weed, anyway, I think that it is not bad for our health. 

I hope someday I come back to this city, it is beautiful and special.

I love a lot of pictures, but I chose this picture because five minutes before read the instructios for this post, I was thinking in the day that this picture was taked. It was taked at this summer in Buenos Aires by my friend Abril. On february I went to Buenos Aires and Uruguay with four friends. (Abril is not on the picture because she was taking it). This picture represent very well how was our trip, we spend a beautiful time and now we know each other better.

This picturae was taked on the MACBA (museo de arte contemporaneo de buenos aires), I remember that it was a rainy day but too hot, so after the museum, we went to a japanese garden and we run over the rain for a long time, it was funny but then we was covered on stings. 

When I see this picture, I think: "Why I am at Satiango and not traveling". 

Cats

Today, the topic I chose is cats, why? Because  I love them and they have been present in all my life. Cats are the only domestic feline, but they can be very wild too.
I have had cats all my life, my first cat born the same day than me, (September 12, 1995), so we grow up together, her name was Tintal; She was white with some colors like black and brown, and she had the most beautiful eyes I ever seen. Tintal die like three years ago, I really miss her but I know that she was a very happy cat. Six or seven years ago, a cat named Olivia come to live to my house,  a year after she never come back but she left four kitties, we gave them to friends and we still having one of them, his name is Pepino and he is the better cat of the world; he is white with orange and is very big. I sleep every night with him. After that we adopted a scared cat that we found at the street, her name is Fondi and she is very shy; she is grey and she have a beautiful green eyes. Fondi had four kitties one year ago, we gave two of them, Gordo and Timi stayed with us, sadly Timi went out one day and she never came back :(.
At the same time that Fondi went to our house, we adopted Julio, he is a innocent cat, white and black, he can´t kill any fly. Now, I live with Pepino, Julio, Fondi, Gordo and Julio 2.0; Julio 2.0 is a cat from another house, we don´t know which house but he eat with us and sleep with us, is like another family member.
I love all my cats, sometimes I talk to them and I feel that they answer me, and I can´t sleep without them and they can´t eat if I am not there.
All of you should have a cat, they are the better friends in the world. 

miau

My favorite technological object is my movil phone but I hate when I feel that I need it for do some things like talk with friends or search something on google, actually this is my favorite technological object becouse I have a lot of music in there and I hate when I can`t listen to music.

My mum gave me this movil phone in september because of my birthday, she chose the model, my only wish was a movil phone with a lot of memory for the music. As usual, she surprised me and gave me a very technological model and I`m happy because I can put a lot of songs. 

In general, I use my movil phone for listening to music, chatting with my friends, taking some pictures, loging in facebook or my mail, reading news and of course playing some games like candy crush or 2048. 

I use my movil phone everyday, regrettably, is one of the first things that I see at the morning because is my alarm, and I use it every time that I can listen to music. During the day, I use a lot Whatsapp for chat with my friends and familly, for example my sister lives on EEUU, and we chat everyday a lot, or my dad, he is new at the Whatsapp age and he chat everytime! He send me emoticons every hours and I know that he don`t understand those emoticons but he is cute. 

I don`t know why I like using my movil phone, I hate when I see a group of friends and anyone talks because they are all watching their movil phones. I belive that using a movil phone for practical things is good, but use the movil phone for everything is not right! Life would be much better without this object, people would be more spontaneous and relatios would be more real. 

Writting about me

My name is Eva Milena Hopenhayn, my parents gave me this name because of my grand mother and Milena for Kafka´s wife. I was born on 12th September, 1995 in Santiago, Chile.
 I´m the youngest of the siblings, my half brother Daniel is 32, my half brother Ivan Antonio is 28, and my half sister Constanza is 27. Even though I said they are half brother or sister, I feel like they are my siblings completely.
 I have lived all my life in the same house, before I lived with my father, my mother, my sister and my grand mother, but now I´m living with my mother and five cats.
Before I started university, I was at Colegio La Girouette, and now I can see a lot of my friends from school because they are in the same university and sometimes we have lunch together or we meet in the garden.
 This year (2014) I started university at Universidad de Chile, and I chose Sociología because I think is a complete career that has all the subjects I like.
 When I am not at university, I like reading, listening some music, having a good time with some friends, going dancing and playing football, and of course I love eating and sleeping.
 I hope to be a good student and then work in the things I love, traveling, having a lot of cats, and still seeing my friends and family.
